The central landfills are essential for the waste disposal security of our region. Abfallwirtschaftsbetrieb Landkreis Emsland maintains four central landfill sites in Dörpen, Wesuwe, Flechum and Venneberg. These sites offer private households and commercial enterprises a wide range of disposal options.
At these landfills, you can dispose of recyclables and waste, some free of charge, some for a fee. This means that anything that does not belong in the gray residual waste garbage can, in the waste paper, the yellow bag, at the recycling center or in the hazardous waste mobile can be taken to the landfill!

Please note:
On Saturdays, it is not possible to deliver waste for storage (asbestos, mineral wool, etc.) or to deliver bulky waste free of charge.
In addition, only small quantities are accepted at the recycling centers on Saturdays from 12:30 p.m. (e.g. green waste up to 1 m³).
