This type of waste includes small gas containers and gas cartridges with a capacity of less than 750 ml, for example camping gas cartridges, cartridges for stoves or gas containers for water bubblers.
Even if they are small, these containers are pressurized and often still contain gas residues.
If they are disposed of incorrectly, there is a risk of explosion and fire – especially during further waste treatment.

This is how you can dispose of these gas containers:

1. Interim hazardous waste storage – gas cartridges or pressurized containers with a capacity of less than 750 ml that are not demonstrably empty can be handed in there.
2. Hazardous waste mobile – These containers are also accepted here.
3. Return via the dealer – Alternatively, the gas containers can be returned to the points of sale or specialist dealers.

Important:

• Gas containers that are not completely empty must not be disposed of with household or recyclable waste.
