The central landfills

Waste containing hazardous substances up to a total quantity of 20 kilograms or 20 liters plus 40 liters of emulsion paints (solvent-free paints, wall paints) can be disposed of free of charge (except used oil) at one of the four central landfills.

The hazardous waste interim storage facility

Larger quantities of hazardous waste should be taken to the hazardous waste interim storage facility on the site of the central landfill in Haren-Wesuwe. Private households, public institutions and commercial companies can dispose of hazardous waste here for a fee.

The opening hours of the hazardous waste interim storage facility: Monday to Friday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
