Spray cans are used in many households – for example for varnishes, paints, cleaning agents, lubricants, hairspray or insect sprays.
Even apparently empty spray cans often still contain propellant gas or product residues and are under pressure.
If disposed of incorrectly, there is a risk of explosion and fire, especially in waste disposal vehicles and sorting facilities.
This allows you to dispose of spray cans that are not completely empty:
- Hazardous waste interim storage – spray cans that are not demonstrably empty can be handed in here.
- Hazardous waste mobile – The hazardous waste mobile also accepts spray cans that are not completely empty.
