Almost nothing works in the household without electricity: whether washing, cooking, cleaning or relaxing – electrical appliances are everywhere. But what to do with them when they break down?

What is a large appliance?
An appliance is a large appliance if one edge is longer than 50 cm.
This includes, for example, washing machines, dryers, ovens, dishwashers or massage chairs: Washing machines, dryers, ovens, dishwashers or massage chairs.

You can dispose of these appliances in this way:

  1. Central landfills – Bring the appliance to one of our four landfills free of charge.

  2. Bulky waste – The appliances can also be taken along with the bulky waste collection.
  3. Dealers – Large appliances must be taken back free of charge if you buy a comparable appliance.

Please note:

  • Easily removable batteries must be removed beforehand and disposed of separately via the battery collection system before the old appliance is disposed of correctly.
