Screens and monitors

Collection group 2

Almost nothing works in the household without electricity: whether washing, cooking, cleaning or relaxing – electrical appliances are everywhere. But what to do with them when they break down?

What is a display device?
If the main feature of the device is limited to the screen. This classically includes televisions, computer monitors and flat screens. The situation is different for cell phones, navigation devices, laptops and tablets. These are included under small electrical appliances. Please note, however, that
easily removable batteries must be removed beforehand and disposed of separately via the battery collection.

You can dispose of these appliances in this way:

  1. Central landfills – Take the appliance to one of our four landfills free of charge.
  2. Bulky waste – The appliances can also be taken along with the bulky waste collection.
  3. Retailers – Many stores will take back old appliances when you buy a new one.

Please note:

  • Easily removable batteries must be removed beforehand and disposed of separately via the battery collection before you dispose of the old appliance correctly.
